UCBD is a great way to get in shape, make new friends, and most importantly dance!
If you plan to enroll at UC Berkeley this Fall (or you are faculty or staff member), then you are eligible to join Cal’s ballroom dance team without any previous DanceSport experience!
Please come to any of our recruiting events to obtain the application package and fill some paperwork. Our Rookie Coordinator, Christine Yim, as well as out other team officers, will be at all the events to answer any questions you might have regarding the team. Please contact Christine, rc@ucbd.org, if you would like to join our team, but are unable to attend any of our recruiting events.
If you do not have any DanceSport experience and already enrolled at UC Berkeley, we encourage you to join our Social DanceSport class and apply for the team membership in the Fall. For more information about of SDS program, please email our Social DanceSport Coordinater, Kathleen Hui (sds@ucbd.org).
If you have previous DanceSport experience, or if you are not a UC Berkeley student, and are interested in joining UCBD, please email our Captain, Kai Kang (captain@ucbd.org).
